Geometry is seductive because sometimes everything seems like such a tangled mess that all I want to do is lay it out straight and see how it all fits together.
If I can measure the area of a room with neat precision, I can know the size of the container for my life; if I can measure the circumference of the Earth, I can put it all in perspective.
Stories are abstractions of events. Geometry is the abstraction of the space where those events occur.

Something to think about
Men who want to be feminist allies do not need to be given a space in feminism. They need to take the space that they have in society and make it feminist. That’s what women had to do in the first place, and women have fought much too hard for what little space they have to be giving it to men.
